School celebrates athletic successes
With the football team preparing for its first playoff game and Jake Bootz representing the school at the state cross country meet this weekend, there was plenty to celebrate at the latest pep rally.
Teachers performed a dance routine and a handful of students participated in a sack race with the seniors taking the victory. (Click on the picture below to see more photos of the event by junior Lisseth Lopez.)
District Champions crowned after victory over Humble
A 42-35 victory over Humble in the season finale earned the varsity football team their first-ever District Championship. They will play Magnolia West Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 pm in the Woodforest Stadium at The Woodlands. (Click on the above photo to see more images by sophomore Allie Stanfield from the Humble game.)
Bulldogs dominate Porter, 56-0
The Bulldogs dominated Porter High School on the road Friday night, 56-0. The Bulldogs are now 3-6 heading into their season finale against Humble on Friday night at Turner Stadium.
Anthony Menard led the team with three carries for 205 rushing yards. Johny Evans had 10 carries for 171 rushing yards.
